Picture Tells 1,000 Words

This was harder to get than you would imagine! Probably the first of many hoops to jump through.

Let's get started!

Let's get started off right! Deb and I spent a month in Kyrgyzstan during the winter of 2013. We roughly split our time between a stay at the 40Tribes yurt in the Tien Shan mountains East of Issy-Kul, and the town of Arslanbob (Central Kyrgyzstan, near Jalalabad). We had such a good time, that we somehow figured out a way to travel to the other side of the planet for the winter of 2014.

We will be based out of Arslanbob to start things out, arriving around January 20, 2014. Much thanks to our friend Hayat Tarikov for helping us get set up in Arslanbob with a "home-stay" hosted by Abdullahjan, Ulmashad and their awesome family.
